We enjoyed another fantastic IDIGH Holiday celebration with a delightful potluck. The room was adorned with captivating decorations, and the festive atmosphere was filled with mouthwatering dishes, creative ugly sweaters, and a spirit of teamwork and collaboration.
Gingerbread house decoration contest
One of the highlights was the Gingerbread house decoration contest by lab teams, adding a touch of friendly competition to the festivities. Olivier's lab secured the 1st place with their well-prepared entry, followed by Sheppard's lab in the second spot, consistently impressing with their creativity, and Pai lab took the 3rd spot Pai lab, showcasing a unique greenhouse-themed gingerbread house. While numerous exceptional designs were on display, prizes were awarded to the top three winners.
The event also featured an entertaining ugly sweater contest, recognizing three winners for their festive attires.
Beyond the competitions, the celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for IDIGH members from both CTB and CORE centers to connect and interact.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the trainee committee for organizing the event, and sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed by preparing and sharing delicious dishes, fostering a sense of community and warmth among program members.
